Woman Caught With Drugs At Jail

April 24, 2012

A Cantonment woman is facing a felony drug charge after allegedly being caught with drugs on her person as she was being booked into the Escambia County Jail.

Caitlin Bagwell was charged with possession of controlled substance without a prescription.

She had been arrested at the Ensley Walmart when deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint and found that she had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in a traffic case.

A detention deputy found half a Xanax and another unknown pill which will be tested.

She was released from the Escambia County Jail on a $250 bond, according to jail records.

I wonder what it was about her vehicle that made it suspicious?

    Don’t Judge,

I don’t see how anybody on here is judging her. The comments are quite mild given the alleged crime.

I am so sorry Caitlin, I hope you are ok and I am thinking of you. I hope that you can get out of this trouble and start fresh.

You people need to stop judging others. LOOK IN THE MIRROR before you open your mouth! I’ve known her for YEARS and she would never do anything to hurt anyone. Wrong Place @ the Wrong Time

I am not making excuses for her behavior but I do know this girl and she needs a lot of prayers. She has been through a lot and has consistently made poor choices. She is so young, I pray she gets back on track.

Dad, sometimes they get bailed out before the VOP catches up to them in the jail. Always a game, “come get me out before my VOP shows up” because thats a “no bond”.

She already has a failure to appear so they let her out again on $250 bond?
