Photos: Northview Baseball Clinic For NWE, Tri-County
April 22, 2012
The Northview Chiefs baseball team held a training camp Saturday for Northwest Escambia and Tri-County Cal Ripken players. From pitching to catching, the camp focused on the basics of improving play and on the transition from Little League to Cal Ripken rules.
NWE offered their thanks to the Northview players, coaches and Diamond Club for offering the camp. “It was excellent. We are looking forward to the next one,” a NWE statement said.

I would like to thank all of the Northview Diamond club and coaching staff for their time today at the baseball camp. And a special thanks to all the Northview baseball players for getting up early on their Saturday morning and spending time with the young kids that really look up to them. I know all of the NWE Century Pharmacy 10 & U baseball team enjoyed it. I hope we can do this for years to come and maybe add other sport camps for the area youth with Northview.
I see Century’s machine pitch team was there. I wish I wild have known they took this age group I’m sure my son’s team from NWE would have enfjoyed it. Great pictures!
This was a wonderful opportunity for our kids! The NHS baseball team did a great job working with our boys. Thank you to all of the parents and staff that put this together and to the students that participated. I can not wait until the next one!!
