Myrtle Lee McIntyre

Myrtle Lee McIntyre passed away April 2, 2012. Momma came into this world October 27, 1924, in Walnut Hill. She passed away just as she had wished at home with family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wheeler in 1968, her parents, Andrew and Elizabeth Lambert, her brothers and sisters.

Myrtle Lee was a strong lady. She raised her four children by working hard at Monsanto doing shift work from 1963 until retiring in 1986.

Her love in life was to be surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Momma is survived by her two sons, Donald Ray (Sheila), Wayne (Deborah), two daughters, Marilyn Browning and Cindy (Charles) Hatton, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a close niece, Susan Wicks.

The family received friends Friday April 6, 2012, at Faith Chapel South with a graveside burial at Union Hill Cemetery.

Her sons and grandsons served as pallbearers.
