Escambia Man Sentenced To Life For Murder, Robbery

An Escambia County man was sentenced to life in prison Friday for murder and robbery.
Ortavious Devon Wilson, 33, was sentenced to life as a prison releasee reoffender after being convicted of second degree felony murder and robbery with a firearm.
During the early morning hours of January 9, 2011, Wilson and Eddie Peterson robbed Cornell Stallworth at gunpoint across from the Blue Bar on Mobile Highway. During the robbery, Stallworth was able to retrieve his own firearm from his vehicle and fatally shot Peterson.

if he were shot, would he even need food and drinks?
this man should be taken out shot and not be fed any food or drinks
the death penalty would be better than the burden of life in prison, on tax payers.
I DO like the concept of felony murder.
This gentleman and a friend committed armed robbery. The victim decided not to be a victim and killed the friend. Since the friend and ODW were committing a felony at the time leading to the killing, this makes ODW part of the murder.
and it only took about 40 run-ins with the law and a single killing to finally put a stop to it.
