Escambia Honors Outstanding High School Seniors

The Escambia County Public School Foundation hosted the 2012 Senior Academic Awards program Thursday night, honoring 88 of Escambia County’s outstanding high school seniors.
Honorees included the top five students in each graduating class as well as one student from each of the following disciplines: English, Foreign Language, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Career & Technical. The five National Merit Finalist from Escambia County were also honored.
Recognized Thursday night were:

The Escambia Public Schools Foundation board joyfully congratulates all the students who received awards. It was amazing to listen to their accomplishments and we all know that they will go on to amazing things. We know your parents and family are very proud!

“sister/alumni ” — I’ll step in here about the comment from “awards”. From a press release, I had originally written the story to say “top high school seniors”. That did not mean “Top 10″, but I saw based upon “awards” comment that it could be misunderstood, so I changed it to “outstanding”.

to “awards” who cares if they are in the top 10 or in the top of the class the teachers obviously thought the students were top notch in the class. Congrats everyone who got an award hard work pays off in the long run.
