Time Changed For Century Special Meeting On Gas Leak
April 9, 2012
The Century Town Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday in reference to a project to replace a leaky natural gas line under Highway 29.
The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. in the council chamber to discuss documents related to a USDA loan for a natural gas relocation project, including consideration and acceptance of the loan resolution. (This reflects a time change from the previously announced 10:30 a.m.)

Keep electing people like this and you’ll keep getting the same great service.
Fix the leak before it becomes more of a hazard. It should have been checked before they fixed the road, I guess I will never understand why they pave a road, then tear it up shortly afterward to fix a pipeline or sewer line. Seems like they just make more work for themselves… it must be a government doing the work to keep people busy!
They will probably abandon the old line in place and simply lay more lines outside of the paved area
David for never digging up
what you can leave buried
It is about right. You wait until the road is repaved and then decide to replace leaking line.
