Century Council: Support Jay Relay This Weekend

In an unusually short — just 4.5 minutes long — regular meeting Monday night, the Century Town Council issued a proclamation urging residents to join with them at this weekend’s Relay for Life at Jay High School.
The town, which no longer has a Relay for Life Event, has formed The Century Centurions Team to take part in the Jay Relay. Mayor Freddie McCall called for Century citizens to join the team in Jay for at lease a portion of the Relay event.
The 2012 Jay Relay for Life begins at 6 p.m. Friday at Jay High School and continues until closing ceremonies at 9 a.m. Saturday. Everyone is invited and urged to attend.
