Tommy Elbert Weaver

Mr. Tommy Elbert Weaver, 61, passed away on March 7, 2012 at a local hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Gayle Weaver of Walnut Hill; son Thomas William (Toby) Weaver; daughter Nikki Smith (Randy) of Walnut Hill; brother Jimmy Weaver of Laurinburg, NC; and three grandchildren, Jami Andrews, Logan Lambeth and Katherine Smith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in Atmore with the Rev. Roy Chewning officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Town Cemetery in Evergreen, AL.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

    Ms. Weaver,
    You have been in my thoughts since the day this occurred. I feel I should say you, of ALL the educators in my life…made a difference. A no-nonsense approach! I knew though, that you believed in me. I can only imagine, from the young lives touched from your husband’s passing, that he was one of the best as well! My love and prayers are with you and your family…especially Toby.
