Martha Jean Trawick Savage

Mrs. Martha Jean Trawick Savage, age 71, of Old Castleberry Road, Brewton, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012, in a local hospital after a brief illness.

She was a native of Brewton and a former resident of Pace, before moving back to Brewton, in 2005.

Mrs. Savage was a member of North Brewton Baptist Church, a 1958 Graduate of W.S. Neal High School, and was retired from Monsanto with 37 years of service.

Survivors include: husband, Billy Savage of Brewton;  two sons, Michael S. Booker of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Jeff (Tina) Booker of Riverview; one daughter, Debra (Jerry) Shriver of New York; two step-daughters, Teresa (Jeff) Barnett of Mobile, and Lisa Smith of DeFuniak Springs, ; two brothers, Buddy (Shelia) Trawick of Century, and Stanley (Cindy) Trawick of Pensacola; two sisters, Pamela (Lynn) Slate of Jay, and Jenny Summers of Repton; two grandchildren, Branden (Trease) Booker and Michelle Booker; one great-grandson, Parker Booker; four step-grandchildren, Michael Barnett, Matthew Barnett, Caroline (Dusty) Aldrich and Robert Meyers.

Visitation will be held Thursday night, March 15, 2012,  from 6-8 p.m. at the Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Brewton

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday morning, March 16, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the North Brewton Baptist Church with Rev. Michael King officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Brewton directing.
