Kenneth Ray Spivey

Kenneth Ray Spivey, age 71, passed on to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at a local hospital. Mr. Spivey was a native and longtime resident of Pensacola and Molino. He was a pawnbroker at Carson’s Pawn Shop for more than 50 years. Mr. Spivey was a loving and devoted father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He leaves a large circle of family and friends to cherish memories of his life.

Preceding him in death was his mother Margie Hopkins Spivey.

Survivors include his father Willis P. Spivey, Sr.; his siblings Willis P. Spivey, Jr., David B. Spivey and his wife Tracy, Barbara Lucent and her husband Dana; his children Ted, Randy and his wife Sandi, Teresa Milstead and her husband Eddie and Cameron Spivey; his grandchildren Kelly Rogers and her husband David, Jason, Brandon, Jamie and Tessa Moore, Amber, Heather and James Spivey; great grandchildren Hunter, Hannah, Chandler, Brayden and Bryson; numerous nieces and nephews and his lifelong best friend Jimmy Weaver.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment. Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.

Serving, as pallbearers will be Foye Perry, Jimmy Miller, Tommy Nall, Sambo Garrett, Gene Lewis, Donald Weaver and Wayne Watson.

The family will receive friends at Faith Chapel North-Cantonment from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2012.

Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 Highway 29 South, Cantonment is in charge of arrangements.
