Harry Burton Sellers (Buck), age 64, passed away at USA Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama on March 5, 2012.

A graduate of the class of 1966 of Escambia County High School in Atmore, Buck attended the University of South Alabama. He grew up farming with his grandfather, and later worked with the seismograph crew for Shell Oil Company in Louisiana for several years. Upon his return to Atmore, he came back to the farm, and then worked as a nursery manager in Semmes, AL. Buck worked with Escambia Farm Equipment Company, also known as the John Deere Place, for several years prior to his early retirement due to a severe injury.

One of his greatest joys came from sharing with others, whether it be milkshakes, biscuits or candy with the bank tellers or crew at the local drug store, or delivering green peanuts and sweet potatoes to various friends. He was a friend to all, and greeted everyone with a hug or handshake and a smile.

Gulsby (J.B.) of Uriah, Alabama; son, Leonard Ray Sellers (Leslie), of Birmingham; sister, Rebecca S. Phillips (Joe) of Atmore; and five grandchildren, Noel, Haley, and Heather Gulsby and Jackson Sellers.

Buck is preceded in death by his father, Emmette Ray Sellers, and grandparents Earl and Sallie Sellers and Jackson B. and Mary Elma Stallworth.
