Fire damaged at apartment about noon Friday at the Atmore Rotary Village.
The fire appeared to originate from electrical wiring in an exterior wall of the apartment. The fire was mostly contained to the exterior wall, but the apartment did suffer some water and smoke damage.
There were no injuries reported.
The fire was quickly extinguished by the Atmore Fire Department. The department’s main station is about a block away from the apartments on Ashley Street.
