Cops: Man Breaks Into Home As Ex Is Seeking Restraining Order
March 15, 2012
A Century man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into the home of his ex-girlfriend while she was at the courthouse getting a restraining order against him.
David Lynell Williams, 27, was arrested this week on outstanding warrants for unarmed burglary of a dwelling and criminal mischief. He remains in the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $24,000.
According to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office report, Williams is accused of kicking in the door of his ex-girlfriend’s home on Deborah Drive in December. The ex-girlfriend was at the courthouse filing for a restraining order while her sister was watching their children.
Once inside the home, Williams went to the victim’s bedroom, then ran out the backdoor and fled in a vehicle.
Deputies had responded to the home earlier in the day after the girlfriend report Williams was beating on the victim’s front door. They were unable to locate him once they arrived on scene.

this guy isnt as bad as you guys are makin him out to be and the gun thing whered that even come from?? maybe i missed something i personaly know this guy and he has a big heart maybe a few problems but dont we all!!!before you guys are so quick to judge there is two sides to every story!!
Don’t fret it JM. I would just as soon drop him where he stands, no sympathy from me I assure you,
I see I misspelled it, Committed: Bound or obligated, as under a pledge to a paticular cause, action or attitude Sounds like that joker meets all of above.
Where does it say he was committed?
Committed means you care about the good of something or someone else, then
you are committed to it or them.. This does not sound like committed, this man is committed to what he wants when he wants it and there is the problem. His relationship is all about him and he is not committed to anyone but himself.
This is the problem with anyone who thinks they are in a relationship with themselves. To many people don’t take into consideration what their partner
wants.
Sounds like this girl wants her freedom.
People who cannot regulate their emotions, or control their actions, won’t be around too long to worry with. Ladies think twice before hooking up with these jokers. Can’t fault him for a lack of commitment.
She doesn’t want you dude. Be a man and walk away with your dignity. Doing all this other stuff is not only illegal, it makes you look really desperate and STUPID! Leave her and the kids alone!
a .357 magnum..
Once he is out on bail what is going to keep him from breaking down her door again………………………………………………a restraining order?
Too bad she wasn’t home. She could have smacked him with that restraining order.
A lot of good that restraining order will do! Sounds like she’s better off investing in a concealed weapons’ permit, and a handgun.
Nice ironic tatoos you got there buddy… but it seems like you need to learn how to take a rejection… good for the girl who booted him out… she wont have to worry about him for awhile anyways..
