Area Twirler Wins State Age Group Championship

Colbi Kendall was named the Alabama State Show Twirl and Solo Champion in her age group this past weekend in Cullman, AL. She is in the seventh grade at Flomaton High School and twirls under the instruction of Melissa Majors with the Santa Rosa and Escambia Twirlers.     Colbi I am so proud of YOU!!! You have worked so hard over the years. I remember being at your house all the time and when Megan and I would leave you would be out there working your booty off and we would come back and you would still be working. Your Mom and Dad have always been there supporting you with all they have. I know this will take you far in life. Be pround and I think you should be twirling for Flomaton High School showing those girls HOW TO GET IT DONE!!! Love you

    Colbi, as I was sitting in those stands watching you and hearing the remarks behind me I just had to smile and when they ask”is she your daughter?” I stand proud and I say YES! To hear them say “She is” AMAZING” I think in my head,”YES SHE IS” and then I say out loud “Thank You.” You are truely amazing in my eyes and you have a HEART as huge as you talent! Don’t ever lose that .It is what makes you so AMAZING on the inside as well as outside.

    I remember those days!! Enjoy EVERY SECOND of every competition you compete in!! All that hard work pays off in the end!! Congrats to you!! Always remember to twirl because that’s what’s in your heart and you find the love of practicing as much fun as competing!!! Way to go!!
