    There is definitely more to this story. First of all, this happened not because she took soda, but because she does not respect authority. She think it is o.k. to disrespect her Father and Grandparents, so when her Father told her not to drink any more soda, she began talking back and using profanity. When her Father disciplined her for cussing at him, she retaliated by getting a pair of scissors and stabbing him ONCE on the arm, not several times, as the article states. This child lives a very good life and has no reason to behave the way that she does. She is loved and provided for, she is not abused or neglected. She attends church twice a week and is very smart in school. Maybe this will be a wake-up call and she will realize that she is headed down the wrong path. WE ARE PRAYING.

    I doubt very seriously that she got trouble just for stealing a soda. The whole thing was about stealing PERIOD! Wether it is a soda, candy, or anything else it is wrong. It is best to stop these things with small things, than let them turn into much bigger things. I have two children and if they stole anything from anyone they will get in trouble and they know it. Therefore that is something that I don’t have to worry about.

    Wow Dad! Couldn’t give ur daughter a soda? Seems to me like there is more to this story!! Remember the story few weeks ago where the Grandmother and stepmother ran girl to death for stealing candy bars?! Just kinda extreme to me for getting a soda.

    I’m sure there are more facts to be known on this story. Seems to radical to me that it’s because she stole soda from him. A can? A 12 pack? Just saying.

    @Insiders want to know
    What the heck are you talking about, that makes absolutely no since whatsoever. It clearly states where the photos were taken and what does that have to do with anything at all. Must be a 13 yr old friend of the girl.

    >>Is no one concerned about where these posted photos were taken?

    It clearly says in the story that the photos were taken at the “Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Century Precinct”.

    Pretty good guess on the photos, but why would we be concerned ?

    Funny how the media never seems to get things right. Attention people: Don’t believe every thing you see on the internet. Is no one concerned about where these posted photos were taken?

    That is just crazy! When I was 13 if I so much as looked at my Daddy like I was gonna talk back, I was getting myself in trouble! Either getting my behind tore up or getting grounded! I just cant believe the way alot of these kids are nowadays! I for one have began very early raising my kids to respect others and know right from wrong! My kids get spankings when they misbehave! I’m not saying this girl wasnt raised better or didnt know any better but still if she was mine or if I did something like that!!! LORD help me is all I can say!! I hope the father has a speedy recovery and maybe she will learn from this situation!
