Minor Fire At UWF

Firefighters responded to a small fire Thursday morning in the gym building at the University of West Florida.
The fire reportedly began in a laundry room about 11 a.m. and was quickly extinguished. Firefighters remained on the scene to clear smoke from the building.
The building was evacuated during the fire; there were no injuries reported.
