Fire Claims The Lives Of Two Children
February 6, 2012
An early Monday morning fire in Escambia County has claimed the life of sisters — 10-year old Te’laysia Jackson and 8-year old Te’sjohnna Sanford.
The fire was reported about 1:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of West Gregory Street in Pensacola, just east of North Pace Boulevard. The small wood frame home was fully engulfed when the first firefighters arrived on the scene. The children were reportedly found in a back bedroom of the home.
The children’s mother and another adult were left homeless by the fire. They have been provided a hotel room by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the State and Pensacola Fire Marshal’s offices.

May God be with and bless you contiueously
My heart goes out to the parents of these two girls. Parents try to stay strong in these trying times in your life. Others with young children please take time to show your kids escape routes in your homes for these types of unfortunate events. Make sure you have smoke detectors checked or installed in your home. Again my heart goes out to all of these victims.
Sooo sad. Praying their strength!
