Joe was such a GREAT guy. We knew that if we were running a call in Beulah, everything that needed to get done, was done to the best of his ability. He was always full of smiles and he had such a warm heart. I will miss his laughter, his pure heart and his hugs. R.I.P. Joe. You are now one of God’s firemen. May you keep the Heaven’s free from the fires of Hell!!
You were always there to help any of us out there – no matter where, no matter when. You always smiled – gave a hug if there was time, and always cared. I will miss you very much!
WE WENT A LONG WAY BACK. YOU ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND YOU ALWAYS HAD SOMETHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT ALL. YOU WILL BE MISSED BUT, NOW ALL HAVE A GUARDIAN ANGEL BY THE NAME OF “JOE HUFF”. YOU WILL ALWAYS LIVE IN OUR HEARTS. R.I.P. JOE TILL I SEE YOU AGAIN……
The words to describe Joe are hard to find. When a person across you path like Joe you feel bless, Joe always had kind words for people, never met a stranger. He just met a new friend. Joe I will miss you. Save this brother a seat on that truck in heaven. LOVE YOU MY BROTHER.
Joe put me in my first house fire when I was just 14 years old.I’m now pushing 55. He was just a good old boy.

When I first started at International Paper 4 years ago I remember walking in and meeting joe, im pretty sure anyone who has visited IP remembers joe, I dont think he had ever met a stranger…he always love to brag on his wife, children and the grandbabies, and loved the work he did with the fire department…I will alway remember how he wrote in all caps..or the billion of hunting, fishing and stories of how his grandbaby would get songs stuck in his head and then he sang them and got them stuck in mine…he was a good boss and his gate 5 girls as he called us will dearly miss him but glad to know his pain and suffering has come to an end…my prayers go out to his family, friends and all the lives he has touched wether it be through him saving them or teaching them to save and touch everyones heart with a helping hand or a friendly smile!!! Hope to see you again one day!
Joe, my hero, if it werent for you I would have been swept away by the river at red rp rock. It feels like a lifetime ago when I first met you. I was twenty two I think and in wpvfd, very few female firefighters back then. You told me to keep my eyes and ears open, my head down, and have a very good sense of humor. B ut never let them see you sweat-how does a firefighter do that? No I knew what you meant. I really got to know you in EMT school and there you became my hero. From one of many, many saves you will be deeply missed. I love you Joesph save me some fish to catch when I get there. I know you are finer than a frogs hair split 4 ways now, and we are all thankful that your suffering is over for . Charlotte, Vivian and all the rest of Joes family our prayers and thoughts are with yall.. See ya later Joe

Joe, what a friend. Selfless and always willing to help anyone in need. I spent many a day sharing stories and lies and in all my days have never found anyone with a better soul than Joe. I miss him already.
Sending my condolences out to the family. Mr. Joe always had a kind heart! R.I.P. Joe. Our loss is Heaven’s gain!
Joe Huff in my eyes, was the John Wayne of the Beulah Fire and rescue! When times were tough, his calm nature always pull everyone through. From his “hey buddy to his G man sayings, he always made you feel like an important part of the department. He didnt believe in “clicks” and walked the other way to avoid them! I will miss the stories about the deer he saw and miss working the many snowball derbies together. Rest in peace my friend!
Rest in peace Brother Joe. You will be missed for your eager smile and keen sense of humor. I was in Ensley vfd for many years with Joe. I also worked for him in private security. He was always honest and helpful to everyone. A real good man. He help put me on the path that got me to where I am in life
Rest in Peace Mr. Joe. Your legacy will live on in all of us that you taught to fight fire and save lives. Thank you for blessing so many of us for so many years, you will truely be missed! It is an honor to have been able to learn so much from you.
Mr. Huff,
