Finalists Announced For Escambia County Teacher Of The Year

Escambia County Teacher of the Year finalists have been announced.

The finalists are:

  • Fran Cook, Hellen Caro Elementary
  • Terri Pernia, N.B. Cook Elementary
  • Jeffrey Pribble, Escambia High School
  • Catherine Rudd, Scenic Heights Elementary
  • Marjie Stradley, West Florida High School

The Escambia County Teacher of the Year will be announced February 23 at the Golden Apple Awards in Pensacola.

    Way to go to Mrs. Trice at Bratt Elem. She is truly amazing teacher, congrats to a wonderful person.. And congrats go out to Coach Sammy Day, at Northview Highschool you were always a great person & a wonderful teacher… Wish the both of you the best luck

    Laura Jackson is the most wonderful teacher. She is Number One my sons book, we appreciate all that she does for each and every child in her class.

    What a wonderful honor!! I know Mrs. Crosby, from Pine Meadow, is deserving of this award! She is amazing:)
