Two Indicted For 1st Degree Murder Of Toddler
January 5, 2012
A grand jury has indicted two men for the murder of a Pensacola toddler.
Dwayne “Money” Pinestraw of Cantonment and Shaquill Besst of Pensacola were indicted on charges of first degree murder in the shooting death of 19-month old Ty’Quarius Moultrie and first degree attempted murder for the shooting of 23-year old Vincent Dennis. The two are also charged with shooting into a dwelling.
Pinestraw allegedly shot the child and Dennis on July 15, 2011, when he fired a .45-caliber gun through the window of a Pensacola Village apartment. He was arrested in Texas hours after being featured on the television program American’s Most Wanted.
Pinestraw is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges on January 19; Besst will be in court on February 22.

REGARDING:
“I am familiar with the felony murder rule. But in many cases that rule is misused.”
Perhaps, but it looks appropriate in this case if it were applied. The worse thing is that I had thought he just ignorantly shot through an opaque door, not knowing he would kill a kid. I see from above that he shot through a window, so that means he could see his target.
Further, many crimes wouldn’t be committed if someone didn’t egg them on. Some criminals are cowards. (I don’t know how many criminals are brave, noble people.)
The main thing is that if you are involved in criminal activity that can reasonably be expected to lead to other criminal acts including murder, you have already agreed in principle to accept the murders if they happen — or you‘re too stupid to walk around loose. They look like bright gentlemen.

Fry em’!!
Be careful who you hang out with! many a innocent person sits in jail because they were with someone else while a crime was being committed.
Citizen… He was arrested because he was an accomplice to “money” during the commission of a crime. By law, he can be held to the same level of accountability as the shooter. More than likely, there is a lot more to the incident than we know about from the news. The jury trial will determine what happened and the depth of Besst’s role in the crimes.
Why was Besst arrested? I thought Pinstraw was the shooter. Do you get arrested for being witness to a shooting?
