Looking forward to watching it open. It’s already a shot in the arm for Cantonment’s economy. I pass it everyday on the way to work and see a lot of jobs. Big thumbs up!

“But that lot on the corner of Muscogee Road is just a bad location for any business, and they never last very long there.”

Mr. Huelsbecks station was there before the paper mill!, It lasted until a few years after his death!

I believe this is called “free enterprise” and obviously this company feels there is sufficient demand for their product to justify the cost of building in this area. I don’t know what the county commissioners have to do with it, except maybe zoning regulations. I’m sure there would be an outcry if this were a government building going up. Just glad to see private business expanding.

Do we really need another gas station? This will make 8 between Neal Road to Kingsfield Road. (Did the BP close near the IP?)

But on the upside, a few mre jobs that are well needed :)

Wow! Another gas station, just what Cantonment needs. What was wrong with using the one across the street or just down the highway? Thank you County Commissioners for keeping Cantonment in the dark ages!!

    >>>Good news Does anyone know what will be coming to the Hwy 29 & 97 corner. I read on this site that some fast food or store was going to be built there but have heard no more.

That project is still in the Development Review process. No more news yet.

its great cantonment is growing but thats a bad place to try and get into without problems.they better put in a turning lane into the station or there will be alot of wrecks there.
