There are no words that I can say that can reverse the actuality of this reality… I do know that God and time will heal your unseen and penitrating pain that no one sees but God… I’m so thankful and grateful to have been a son of The Jackson Family… I miss my dad so much… As mysterious as God’s ways are, we must understand that His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Yes, it was a total shock to everyone that knew Bro. Bob, especially to the ones that were priviledged to get close to him like myself. Even though it was a shock to us, it was not a shock to God… NOTHING JUST HAPPENS… He knows exactly how to orchastrates our lives. He knows our ending before our beginning. God knew that on that set date, in that set year, at that set time, and in that set place that He was going to bring the soul of Dr. Bob Jackson into His paradise. I do hope and pray that Bro. Bob’s passing away opened up the eyes of everyone that loved him to the reality that God is love and love is God… Bro. Bob was my dad, my friend, my Kingdom relative, also the closest to God i’ve seen in the earth rhelm… I’ve been priviledged to see God through Dr. Jackson and through him, I knew that God loves me and care for me so much… And He’s no respecter of persons… Guess what, He loves you too… i love you Mother Gail, Bro. Rob, Tanya, Abigail. May the peace of God rest upon you all and this be a catalyst for Christ o be revealed the more… IN JESUS’ NAME…
Our hearts break with the loss of our precious Dr. Bob. As the same time, we rejoice in the beautiful memories that this special man has given us. My family has been so touched by this wonderful pastor in so many ways. One of my favorite memories will always be of hearing him singing as he walked the halls of the church that he helped to build in Brandon, MS. What a servant he was for God, our church, and our community. I will always cherish his support , guidance, and the love that he gave me while ministering to the children of Brandon Baptist Church. Don’t you know that Heaven is brighter today and that Dr. Bob is smiling down on each and everyone of those he loved so much.
May God continue to bless you and comfort you with beautiful memories.
Much love, Cheryl Saffle
Gail,
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What a wonderful servant God has sitting with him at this time. Gary and I discussed on the way to church on Sunday, what a celebration must be going on. Brother Bob touched so many lives in the Brandon area and wherever he went. He will be truly missed by so many people. Just know that we are praying for you during these difficult days.
May God Bless and keep a hand on each of you.
Love,
Gary and Rachael Tucker
I have kept up with Bobby Jackson and his life since he followed me as pastor of Clio Baptist in Clio, Alabama in the late 50’s. I valued his friendship and fellowship. He led an interesting life and was influential in many lives. He will certainly be missed. But the work that he began will continue on in those whose lives he touched.
I pray God will touch his family with comfort and peace.
Rob, Tonya, Abigail, Ms. Gail,
May our Lord, the God of peace and comfort be with all of you
and your entire family during this difficult time. Difficult in separation
only, as a wonderful servant is now at rest in Jesus!
Bob Jackson (Dandy) was a wonderful man, who touched the lives
of so many people. I cannot help but think of the tears that must be
falling today in Romania, as well as here at home.
May God Bless.
Love,
Larry, Whit & Caroline
Gail, Robbie, Jeannece: I am deeply saddened at Bobby’s death. Through the years, I learned that Bobby Jackson was always one of the kindest, most gentle souls that ministered to so many people. I appreciate all of the kind words he shared with me as we cared for his daddy. He never gave up on that assignment, always trying a little harder to make life better for Mr. Jackson. Youall have a lot of friends in Flomaton and I believe many of these friends will surround your family as you meet at the church, at the cemetery, and as youall continue with your life. God Bless all of you, stay safe, and continue the works in the church and the world that Bobby Jackson so loved.
