Century First Baptist Youth ‘Change’ Pastor

January 29, 2012

Members of the Century First Baptist Church recently collected change in jars labeled with college football teams. The heaviest team’s jar was named the winner, with Pastor David Boyd agreeing to wear the winning team’s clothing for a Sunday night.

The Florida Gators narrowly edged out the Alabama Crimson Tide, putting Boyd into a Gators’ sweatshirt.

About $60 in change — over 10 pounds of coins — was collected, with the proceeds benefiting a youth camp trip.
