I am Angela Imperiale. Benny is my brother. Having been cursed i wish nothing of the sort to anyone involved. Infact i hope Victoria Oliver being a parent herself never indures what my parents have had to this holiday season. Perhaps its the excellent drivers we should be more aware of rather than the careless and imprudent ones. My prayers to all.

Benny is my cousin. Today would have been his 30th birthday. Many of us found out about the accident on Christmas Eve so it was a very difficult holiday. Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts and prayers for the family. All of them are appreciated! Please pray specifically for his mom and dad as they make arrangements to get him back to Missouri. Benny was a father, son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend who will be sorely missed! He was baptized the Sunday before his passing so through the sadness I am comforted in knowing he was right with his GOD and in a better place than any of us could imagine!

My prayers also go out the girl who was driving and to her family. While our grief is different, it is equally as painful, I am sure.

I pray that the Lord gives all of us the wisdom, courage and strength to get through the coming days, weeks, and years.

Victoria is my daughter. She is an excellent driver and has never had a ticket or an accident. She has 2 babies, so she’s always extra careful. She is having a hard time with this. Keep her and the man that died in your prayers this holiday season.

We were waved through this accident scene last night as we were traveling westbound on 9 Mile Road. I knew that someone was deceased and said several silent prayers as we went by. I pray that God is with everyone involved.

All I can do is shake my head. I wonder if this was during those
    terrible rains last evening.

    It’s a terrible, terrible thing.

My boyfriend’s dad and brother happened to drive by the scene right after it happened. That’s so unfortunate :/ I’m 19 and couldn’t imagine going through that trauma for the rest of my life. I hope both of the families can stick it out together and get through this. That’s crazy, it can happen to anybody, anywhere, at anytime. Be careful people!!!

That is so horrible! And right here at Christmas too… I feel so sorry for both families. Lord please comfort the families of both parties involved!
