Pam Trice Named Bratt Elementary Teacher Of The Year

First grade teacher Pam Trice has been named Teacher of the Year at Bratt Elementary School. Trice, a teacher for the past 20 years, is in her ninth year at Bratt.
Trice traveled the world with her husband, CDR George Trice USN (Ret), during his 33 years of service, allowing her to teach in many places including Hawaii, Japan, Cuba, Colorado and finally Bratt Elementary.
She loves to bring the world to her students through global activities, reading books and even cooking activities.
“I can’t imagine doing anything other than teaching first grade,” Trice said.

Mrs. Trice, deserves this honor. She is an amazing teacher, and loves her job. And most of all loves her children at Bratt. She was my daughter’s teacher last year, and we loved her, and still do. Way to go Mrs. Trice, you’ve earned it.. Great Job..

Mrs. Trice , I know that you have earned this award because you were wonderful to my Josh when he was in your class. He enjoyed being in the room with a teacher who was excited about all things and you will always be a fond memory in his heart .I know that even when he is grown He will remember you as a loving teacher. Congratulation Mrs Trice!! You so deserve this honor!. Of my times visiting your classroom you demonstrate strong, but respectful, and loving teaching skills towards your little learners. I have witness a lot of respect and admiration from your students as well from your colleagues. I have watched you take that extra mile to ensue your students get the best towards their learning. I know teaching can be a hard job, but to you it is not a j-o-b….. but a love that you are so great at! And as your sister who works in the corporate “adult” world….I just do not know how you do it…other than you are a great teacher…period! This was well deserved!!!!!
