One person was critically injured in a single vehicle wreck early Saturday morning on Highway 29 in McDavid.

The accident happened just after 3 a.m. on the southbound side of Highway 29 near Black Road. A 20-year old man from Cantonment apparently lost control, ran off the roadway into a ditch and struck a fire hydrant. I pray this young man recovers. The other morning I was traveling north up Pine Barren Road, and observed two young women, speeding down Pine Barren Road. A minute later I topped a hill, to find a man trying to back his Tanker Rig onto the road. I stopped on top the hill and turned on my flashers. After the Semi had pulled away, I continued up the road, into a blind curve and I thought, what if the young ladies had been a minute earlier? Life is so very fragile, and so very much is left to the luck of the draw, and the Good Lord Above.

Thanks to all for your prayers and concern. Each day is a hurdle overcomed.Hes getting better a little each day. With so many pulling for him, he will be up and running in no time. The docs say he will never walk again, but, I say, you cant keep a good man down! :)

Please keep him in your prayers. He’s a great father, and deserves to be able to throw ball and see his son grow up.He has a whole life ahead of him. I know him very well, we share a child together. Yes, we may not be together or always get along. But he’s a great individual altogether. Very ambitious and has a great future ahead of him. He has to get better. His son needs him and he needs his son. We may not be close and some people may say I don’t care, but you never truly stop caring especially when a child is involved. I pray to God he gets better and everything is okay. His family and him need a miracle. Please pray for him!
