The coats were collected as part of the “Coats for Kids Drive”. The nearly 14 dozen coats will be distributed by the Jay Chamber of Commerce.
C-Shift was tops in the coat drive, collecting 65 coats. They received a certificate and a pizza party for their efforts.

Way to go Correctional Officers!!!!! I know your hearts are happy for what you have accomplished. Often, Correctional officers are the forgotten cops, this is great and you should be proud. Keep up the good job and stay safe.
Now isn’t that nice. This Sheriffs office has a lot to do same as any other LEO
office, they have homes, family, children of their own, relatives and neighbors
AND YET they took the time to collect that many coats for children.
I think that is a wonderful CHRISTMAS STORY.
THANKS to the Santa Rosa County Sheriffs office.
And of course WILLIAM LOL for printing this story this morning.
