Public Meeting: Crabtree Church Road Widening Plan

November 2, 2011

A public meeting will be held next week concerning a proposal to pave the shoulders along Crabtree Church Road between Highway 97 and Sunshine Hill Road in Molino.

Escambia County has received funding from the Florida Department of Transportation Rural Work Program for the design and construction of five-foot asphalt shoulders on the 2.5 mile segment of roadway.

The public meeting to receive input from property owners and stakeholders will be held from 5:30 until 6:30 on Tuesday, November 8 at Molino Park Elementary School at 899 Highway 97.

The section of road they want to widen is the best section of that road but also the most populated. I agree with Jennie Hager, they need to fix the worst roads up here first and then put the finishing touches on the better roads.

How about paving ALL THE FILTHY DIRT ROADS that have never been
paved before you re-pave roads that are fine for what they are used for,
and how about keeping all the big rigs off of 95A so they stop tearing it
up, we all know who they are avoiding and why.

Not much traffic on that road. It needs resurfacing more than widening. And how about paving the Florida side of Barrineau Park Rd. crossing the Perdido River?

I wonder what is going on in Bratt., Roads being clean, Dirt hauled into the conner of 99 and hwy 4. Is Mr White coming back to visit and show how much he has done for the north end. Remember when you vote there is not enough votes up here to worrie with or bother with in the north end. Who made that statement?I hope that Crabtree road when it gets widen that they remeber to come back and finish it, Or will it be like Hwy. 99?
