Way to go Twinette. Good teachers seldom get monetary rewards, and have to make do with that magic moment that we get in class when students get it and are participating with you.

I really wish you could have met Annie Tringas, T’s first cousin. She was outstanding Music Teacher in Florida and went to the Julliard. She was also from Pensacola and died two years ago. Belle and I went to the wake where her students, a number of whom were playing in symphonies in the US, played a number of pieces that Annie taught them. Belle was impressed. Annie and I had a lot of talks about music, teaching, and her love of teaching.

Thank you Miss Mc Donald for all that you do to introduce children to the
wonderful world of Music. Our children in the community need more
    like you.

Thank you also to all the great teachers that through all the adversity
of low wages, low benefits, low resources, and sometimes some
very uncooperative parents, try to reach our children and send them
to the highest peaks they can achieve. Congratulations for all of your
hard work and contributions to children. We need more like the
ones that I have witnessed in some of the schools.

    Thank you everyone!
