True heroes aren’t athletes, actors, singers, getting paid thousands/millions of dollars. It’s the soldier, airman, marine, seaman, coast guardsmen that lay their lives on the line everyday.

It’s men like Pat Tillman that felt a sense of patriotism over a career in the NFL to serve his country, not for the love of money, but for a cause higher than his own personal wants or needs.

It’s the young men (and women) like this man PFC Matthew Colin, James Burnett, and LCpl Travis Nelson that are real American heroes!

This Thanksgiving, be thankful for folks like these that step up and say “I will” so we can live the way we live.

All gave some, some gave all! God Bless America!

I met Matt in first grade and stayed friends with him up until I moved away. When I returned the following year in 6th grade he was the first who remembered me and talked to me. I hated through out the years we drifted apart. Matt was one of the most caring people I’ve ever met. He is a true hero, he risked his own life to keep us Safe. I will never take a day for granted . Matt will be terribly missed but thank u for service .
