Thank you Cantonment for a great game. You boys did an awesome job!!! We will meet again next season. Congrats Bellview mighty mites on winning a great game, we should of had 2 more TD’s if it wasn’t for the penalties. The refs did horrible on not calling the horse collar penalty twice against Cantonment. I do know they are aware of it and need to go back and study the handbokk before Saturday in regards to rules and penalties. The league needs to do better on providing decent refs. Specially for the playoffs. Great job Bellview, let’s do it again Saturday against Myrtle Grove. All though they have home field advantage, they are going to need more than that considering our game 10/29/11 when we shut them out 32-0…Great job boys!!! We are proud of all the boys..let’s practice and do it again :)

@ Jaime–We Will without a doubt shut out Cantonment, we did in the jamboree and we did last year. Shut outs in the first half are very common in the first round of playoffs and sometimes 2nf round as well, yes it’s been seen before, in the past years. Brent was beat by several teams but MG, we did shut them out.

I strongly believe it will be Bellview and Pensacola in the championship, which Bellview should win. We Should have beat them in the regular season, we had 1 TD brought back over a false penalty. Only time will show how this will end. Good luck to all the teams and specially to all the Bellview teams and let’s pray for injury free games!!!!!

@ MK and William–The score board gets turned off when a team is 30 points ahead. because the other team had 0 points they only post 30 for the winning team. if the losing team would of made a touchdown to get 6 points, then the winning team won by more than 30, the correct score would of been posted. During playoffs once a team is 30 ahead scoreboard goes to 0 and the game is over unlike during regular season when the score board gets shut off, the boys finish all 4 quarters….bellview Mighty Mites are ready!!! Good luck to all the boys though and remember, at this age it’s a learning exp. Coach Byrd–We miss Aiden and you all at T-ball…will see you saturday though, Good Luck to Cantonment and hopes for all teams playing in Saturdays playoffs to have injury free games (worst part of football)

The mini mites won 32-0 & mighty mites won 33-0, but GCYSA will only allow the score to be posted up to 30-0. That is why the score only shows 30-0 for both.

  15. jaime pope on November 17th, 2011 8:34 am

    >>Cantonment Mini Mights defeated Milton Black 32 to 0….not 30 to 0.

The official playoff brackets from the GCYFA show it was 30-0???

  18. MK on November 17th, 2011 7:45 am
