White, Morgan To Hold Town Hall Meeting In Walnut Hill

Escambia County District 5 Commissioner Kevin White and Escambia Sheriff David Morgan will hold a joint town hall meeting in Walnut Hill.
The meeting will take place Tuesday, November 1, at 6 p.m., at the Walnut Hill Ruritan Building at 7850 Highway 97.
The meeting will begin with comments from the commissioner and sheriff then proceed into an open forum. Citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments.

I am a little nervous about Sheriff Morgan being in close proximity to Kevin White. I hope Kevin’s condition is not catching. Thanks for the great work Sheriff Morgan, looking forward to giving you my vote. Sammy Archer too!
Sheriff Morgan has been up here many times. He was in Century just last week when they did that cleanup operation. The Sheriff is very interested in the North end of the county but doesn’t get much reciprocation or cooperation from the people or city government.
As for Kevin White, haven’t seen him since I voted for him in the 1st election. Have Never seen him since. It’s time to go back to doing something worthwhile, being a commissioner has only been good for him, but not for the people in the Century area.
Politics, he has a viable candidate running against him. He’s already pre-filed and has been up there talking to everyone. If you’ll call him, he will be glad to talk to you. You don’t have to accept what you have if you don’t want it and you really don’t have to vote for him either.
Well isn’t this funny, this is the first I’ve heard of either of them showing their face in the North end of the county in a while! Wonder what it could be?
Its not like Kevin will answer your questions anyway… He will give you that Kevin look that he gives you and pass it on to his committee ….

Check your date on Kevin White’s Town Hall meeting. The PNJ has a story today in it saying the town hall will be Tuesday (but gives no actual date). The way their story implies is that it is this coming Tuesday. I know you are right, just want to double check.
Why the sudden interest in the goings on around here by elected officials? Election season is approaching, that’s why. White is in serious re-election trouble based on the opinions of all the people I know. He’s seen as a “yes” man for the south end because he supports every pet project done down there. In the mean time, little to nothing gets done up here except a park re-naming while our county roads and bridges continue to fall apart. As for Morgan, there’s no viable alternative candidate which means he will get re-elected by a land slide while touting operation clean sweeps.
