Susan Beatrice Boutwell Emmons

Mrs. Susan Beatrice Boutwell Emmons, 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, in Pensacola.

Mrs. Emmons was a native and lifelong resident of Flomaton and attended the Methodist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Vernon Emmons, an infant daughter,  grandson George Thomas Emmons, a sister, and seven brothers.

She is survived by two sons, Steve and Ann Emmons, Sr. of Flomaton, and Ray and Peggy Emmons of Prattville, AL; six grandchildren, Steve Emmons, Jr., Mandy Bondurant, Tiffany Emmons, Dixie Emmons, Amy Turk and Dewayne Kervin; four great-grandchildren, Nathan Emmons, Skye Kervin, Anna Brown, and Paige Turk; two brothers, Coy Boutwell of Flomaton, and Alvoid Boutwell of McCullough, AL; and two sisters, Melba Lambert of Atmore and Marie McMillan of East Brewton.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 21, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Johnson, the Rev. Ray Bass, and the Rev. Patricia Bruner officiating.

Burial will follow at Traveler’s Rest Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2011, from 6-9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
