Ronnie Lamar Simmons

Ronnie Lamar Simmons, age 55 of Cantonment, died October 11, 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Simmons; son, Ronnie Jr.; daughter, Ali Jensen; six grandchildren, Kaitlin, Shelbie, Ashton, Booklyn, Jordan, and Ryleigh; and three great grandchildren, Kameryn, Aubree, and Samiah. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather Vera and Willard; five brothers, Donnie, Bobby, Ricky, Robert, David; and one sister, Carolyn.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North, 1000 Hwy 29, Cantonment, with Reverend Mark Torres officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until the service begins. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Simmons, Ricky Simmons, Donnie Simmons, Bobby Simmons, Curtis Myrick and Dennis Byrd. Honorary pallbearer will be Lonnie Vickery.

    hey Bobby thank’s for the thing’s you remember about Ronnie an the thing’s you said about him . Bobby we all love you an thank you .your friend Robert simmons. and Bobby im so very sorry that you suffered a lost of your on your son NIck was a good friend of mine he was a good kid an i miss my friend .GOD BLESS YOU FOR EVERY THING MY FRIEND BOBBY .

    i and my family are very sorry for your lost.ronnie and i went to school at century.we had a good time there .we wood cut up all the time .wewould go over to miss lobe for lunch .he would bring sigarat’s to school.i played football for century.and would smoke with him.he would call me big bob.we were best friend in school. i’m sorry for your lost my god bless you debra and family. mrs.vera and willard. your friend.bobby mathis
