Reward Offered In Murder Of Domino’s Pizza Driver
October 7, 2011
A $3,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible for the murder of a 19-year old pizza delivery driver outside an Escambia County Domino’s Pizza.
Tyler John Hinkle, a 2010 West Florida High School graduate, was attacked outside the Domino’s Pizza at 27 North Navy Blvd. at around 10:40 p.m. on September 24. Hinkle (pictured) was able to walk into the restaurant to seek help from co-workers before he collapsed. He died a short time later at Baptist Hospital.
Investigators said there were no witnesses at the time of the attack and they have not yet identified a suspect. They believe robbery was a motive in the death of Hinkle. Friends said that Hinkle had just returned to the pizza restaurant after making a delivery.
The Domino’s Corporation is offering a $2,000 reward and the local Domino’s is offering a separate reward of $1,000.
Anyone who may have information related to this case is asked to contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 436-9620 or Gulf Coast Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

@Flomation
Thank you so much for that information, I must have missed it or skipped it.
Sometimes my brain lets me down.
The facts are still probably the same. Franchise companies make their
money by selling franchises. I would bet that Domino’s Franchises are
not selling right now and have not been selling for three years also.
This problem in this country has hit everyone, including businesses.
It would be nice if this town, who’s young man this was, would take
up a large collection to catch this criminal, however ALL the facts are
still the same in my mind. It would probably do no good, as so one saw
it, and the guy is probably gone south.
I hope they do catch him, but the fact is, this guy is so horrible this will
not be the only thing he does, and at some time, he will be seen and
hopefully die for that crime and thus for his crime to this young man,
his family, and one of ours…….
God Rest His Soul…..
Big Bopper,
The article says that the domino corporation is offering $2000 and the owner of this domino is offering $1000
@Anthony
This is a franchise I believe, so…….
Probably was not Dominos Corporate, it was probably just this individual
domino’s owner and if you haven’t heard we are all down this last three
years, not just individuals, but businesses also.
Everyone these days are lucky if they have a job, you better do it well,
because there are a lot of good people out of work to replace you.
Really Dominos? A whole $3,000.00? Wow. Don’t hurt yourself.
I seriously doubt that the $3000,00 reward will help unless someone
managed to witness this murder and actually knew the murderer.
I believe it must have been committed by someone who was desperate
and who absolutely has not one iota of conscience, because if this
young man had some pizza money on him it could not have been much.
It would seem this poor young person was murdered for WHAT, $50 or
$60 dollars? It is for that reason I believe this is just random, possibly
a low life who lives in the area, but also possibly some drifter passing
through who is going south for the winter.
All I know is this person who did this horrible crime is lucky that
I didn’t see it, because he would be meeting his maker. I have so little
tolerance anymore for ciminals, thieves, druggies and murderers that
I just want to see them all meet their makers and leave everyone else
to live their lives.
To the family of this young man, I am so very sorry about your son or
loved one. Such a sweet looking boy to be gone from you at such
a young age. Try to remember he is in a far better place with our Lord
and justice will be done.
Prayers for Tyler’s family and Justice.
