Man Gets 20 Years For Molino DUI Death

October 20, 2011

A man has been sentenced to the maximum prison term for a 2010 drunk driving accident that killed his passenger.

Terry Eugene Lee was sentenced by Judge Linda Nobles to 20 years in state prison.

On September 7, Lee pleaded no contest to DUI manslaughter, felony driving on a suspended license and DUI causing property damage.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Lee was traveling on Omega Drive about 6:15 p.m. November 10, 2010, when his Toyota car left the roadway, traveled through a wooden fence and across a pasture before hitting another fence and a tree. Lee’s passenger, Brandee N. Scott, 49, of Pensacola, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. She was impaled by a wooden board from the fence.

According to State Attorney Bill Eddins, Lee was driving with a blood alcohol level of .26/.27.

Lee, who was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital following the crash, first told Florida Highway Patrol troopers that he was not involved in the crash.

I have been hearing for years that soon vehicles would include a breathalyzer, in the ignition system?

Have to disagree Poohbear- One mans actions does not give an entire group a bad name. Atleast not in my eyes, but this is my thoughts. Wonder where we would be as a country if that was true?

Poohbear is right, since when did two wrongs make a right and besides
I did not appoint that Dr. as anyone’s judge, jury or executioner.
Everone gets their day in court in this country, and that Dr. Needs to go to jail.
MJ got just want he wanted however…. a lot of rest.

    Sleep tight Micheal

Since you brought it up, I don’t think the Dr. should. I see it as a favor to society. A child molester, drug addict is gone.

Conrad Murray has given doctors and all medical people a bad name and even though MJ was a terrible person that still didn’t give the doctor the right to do the things that he did.

The sentence showed that he will pay for his negliance. But in California Conrad Murry may never serve a day in prison for his part in Michael Jackson’s death, State to State varies in what prison time they get.

Until people learn nothing good comes from those bottles or cans NEVER.
They were both there doing what they do and they paid the ulimate price.
I do wish people knew better I’m sure they both hurt a lot of family.

May both families recover from this ordeal.

    To 429SCJ
I wondered the same thing. And how in the world was he going that fast on Omega Drive (went thru one fence and across a pasture and then into another fence & tree).
One night out drunk caused a lifetime of misery not only for himself, but for the family of the passenger. When will people learn?

Hardheaded! I wonder how in the world, they wound up in Molino of all places.
