Lambert Bridge Road Set To Reopen Today
October 21, 2011
Lambert Bridge Road will reopen at 3:00 this afternoon, a week earlier than expected.
The bridge was closed September 14 after an inspection revealed decay in support pilings on the 43-year old bridge. Repairs, which began September 28, are expected to cost $34,300, according to an Escambia County spokesperson.
Lambert Bridge Road has been closed from Velor Road to North Pine Barren Road.

A bridge inspection is as good a reason as any, for a drive in the country.
