Atmore Man Shot To Death On Philadelphia Street

A former Atmore resident was shot and killed early Tuesday morning in Philadelphia — one of four people slain in about an hour in separate shootings in that city.
LaJuan E. Morrison, 29, was found dead with a bullet wound to the head on the sidewalk of Philadelphia street at 12:04 after police responded to a 911 call about a shooting in the area, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:13 a.m. Police do not have a motive for the shooting.
Morrison was a resident of the 3100 block of North 29th Street in North Philadelphia.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel, LLC in Atmore.
