Tropical Storms: Tracking Nate In The Gulf, Maria In Atlantic

Two new tropical storms formed Wednesday — Nate this afternoon in the Gulf of Mexico and Maria in the Atlantic. Neither storm appears to be a threat to the U.S. at the present time; however, the steering currents on Nate in the Gulf are weak, possibly leading to a change in the forecast path.
