Brooks’ challenger, Pamela MacArthur, and the only prefiled candidate to date for Seat 2 on the town council, Annie Carter Savage, had not yet completed the qualification process, according to the Escambia County Supervisor of Elections website.

The qualifying period for the fall ballot in Century ends Friday. Qualifying papers will be accepted from 8 a.m. until noon at the Century Town Hall and theĀ  Supervisor of Elections Office in Pensacola.
