Monday was the first day of school in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, and NorthEscambia.com asked our readers to submit photos of their children heading back to class.

    Because it was edited with stars, and borders and other text all over it; it was not just a photo. I hated not to use it, but that’s against our policy. They were so cute!

    Glad to see all the eager faces going back to school, not sure why my children weren’t added to the photo gallery I turned in their pics, but its quite alright.
