Man Convicted Of Armed Kidnapping, Assault In Pizza Buffet Parking Lot
August 19, 2011
An Escambia County man is facing at least 20 years behind bars for an armed kidnapping in the parking lot of a popular Pensacola pizza restaurant.
Dionte Stallworth was found guilty by an Escambia County Jury of attempted armed kidnapping with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.
On November 10, 2010, Stallworth contacted the victim, Marcus Anderson of High Stepping Shoes, to purchase athletic shoes from him. Stallworth and Anderson agreed to meet at the CiCi’s Pizza parking lot on Ninth Avenue. As Anderson was showing Stallworth the merchandise, Stallworth pulled a handgun, held it in Anderson’s side, and demanded him to get in the vehicle, according to State Attorney Bill Eddins. A struggle ensued resulting in one shot being fired. During the investigation, fingerprints were taken from the trunk of the vehicle that were identified as belonging to Dionte Stallworth.
Judge Frank Bell scheduled sentencing for September 28, 2011. Stallworth is facing a maximum of 30 years state prison with a minimum mandatory of 20 years state prison for discharging the firearm in accordance with the 10-20-Life law.

Maybe the practice of selling shoes from the truck of your car in
a pizza joint parking lot should be something you think twice about.
Sounds kinda shady ummm I mean Shabby to me.
I bet he will be out of prison way before 20 yeras……..way before.
I wonder if by the time Mr Stallworth is released, will we be in those flying cars they talked about, when I was a kid. 20 years as in 365 x 20 = 7300 days and nights.
He looks too smart to be on drugs ya know, so I’m thinking he was going to donate all the money to charity.
Cannot people see that this man is tired from working to hard. What idiot would meet someone selling shoes in a parking lot?
Donna, that has actually been the case for years and years now. I understand that it is not fair to convict an entire family based merely on the last name, but over the years, I have known several Stallworths from the Pensacola area, and unfortunately, it does seem as though all too often, the name is synonymous with “trouble”. Anyone who doesn’t believe me should just try checking the State of Florida prison inmate population via the website.
Geez what is up with all the arrest reports for the name Stallworth? If you look at the paper, that name is repeatedly on the arrest log almost daily, isn’t the whole family tree in jail yet? And a guy selling shoes in a parking lot that works at a shoe store…humm makes you wonder how legit that little transaction was!
Wonder if he’s any relation to Christopher. Either way I’m sure they’ll both be someone’s punk in prison huh?
No more bling for you Dionte.
Maybe the eye fairy can bring him some eyes.
