It is believed the children are at the wife’s mother’s home. I hope someone who is fit to raise them is watching over them.

Can the children have breathing problems from being in that home still? There the ones suffering for mistakes that were made. Richard made a huge mistake I know he is so much smarter then that.

I do not understand this meth lifestyle. I would think children would complicate it even more. I miss the days when people around here just smoked homegrown.

Liz I agree with you he’s not a bad man the choice was bad I feel bad for the babies and I feel that this was a result of him Not wanting her to leave him and take his kids that’s why he did it

Liz you dont know how right you are. As someone who know Richard well I can say i feel as though its all falling on him. I can honestly say that i personally knew Richard wanted to stop, and I know other details as well. You brother was a good man, as well as a great father, and no one has the right to judge him on his choices there are reasons he did what he did, althought they might not have been right.

There was a pregnant woman and two children in the house as well. Why is she not charged with anything? A vile creature! Meth is running rapant. This is one less place for people to throw their lives away. Do not judge. DO you not think that things aren’t born but learned. This man needs help. He made a bad choice in his life. Your kids could do the same. Your mother, wife, friend, or dearest blood could one day be locked in addiction. Pray for those kids.Pray for that mother. She is not a saint either. Love one another just as christ loved us. I pray for his family who are hurt and ahamed. Love him and god will heal all wounds. This man’s life was not the only one ruined. Addiction destroys many lives.

My brother is not the bad guy.. Bad choices yes. The other adult in the house should be investigated.

These parasitic drug dealers are literally sucking the life-blood out of our community.. Even in a small town like Atmore, drug use is increasing at an alarming rate right before our eyes.. Sometimes I wonder if there are more people that are high than there are those who are straight.. Our community is already crime infested and poverty ridden, and if deliberate action is not taken on all levels to stop such activity as this, we will soon be another Prichard Alabama..

God bless the tip and the person who called it in. Maybe some of our
children will be able to do great things and will never be messed up from this mans choices. May all the children stop meeting the people who make this terrible thing.
