Thank you Lance Cpl. Nelson, for giving your life to protect us. We will forever be in your debt. And, thank you William for keeping us informed. I got to participate in watching the motorcade with my young boys and that wouldn’t have been possible without your updates. I am hoping that seeing the reality of how war ends sometimes will help me teach them the proper respect and awe at a soldier’s courage.
Thanks, William, for posting this event. My heart breaks for the family of LCpl Nelson, but how proud they must have been to see the outpouring of love and respect for this young man who gave his all.
This was one of the sadest things ever! some people are so ungreatful for our freedom and people like Travis Nelson are willing to risk their life for us, I am so proud and thankful of him and all the other Military! As a 13 year old girl, I appreciate his sacrifice for my freedom!
