Hundreds Honor Fallen Marine With Facebook Profile Picture

Hundreds of North Escambia area residents have changed their Facebook profile pictures to honor LCpl Travis Nelson who was killed last week in Afghanistan.     We will miss you dearly, you will never be forgotten, you are a remarkable young man. Sorry I didn’t get a chance to watch you grow up and become the Man you are. I thank God that in this last Year I was able to make contact with you and see what a GREAT JOB that Beckie and Scott (mom and dad) did in bringing you up to the fine outstanding man you became.
