Congressman Miller’s Staff To Hold Office Hours In Century, Jay

August 8, 2011

Congressman Jeff Miller’s staff will be conducting mobile office hours in Century and Jay on Wednesday.

Several members of Miller’s staff will be on hand to answer questions about problems with federal agencies or issues affecting residents in the First Congressional District.

“We are trying to make contact with our office as convenient as possible for all of our constituents,” Miller said. “Instead of having people come to the office, we’ve decided to bring the office to them.

Miller’s staff will be at the Century Chamber of Commerce at 7811 North Century Boulevard from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. and at the Jay City Hall at 3695 Highway 4 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

good point, maybe he’s just sending his staff to help us. I hope they’re more helpful than they were for you before.

green–also I guess I failed to see that Miller was going to be with his staff. So I guess “jet lag” would not be a problem. Have a nice holiday.

Mr green–Yes that was a direct and correct way the statement was made. I may not all ways agree with your statements, but I have not seen the need the question the truth of them. We ALL make statements based on our perception and our personal knowledge.

    REGARDING:
“My bad on the day, still if you’re working could you take off? I have tried to have a question or two answered by Millers office and was told by a staff member “he was so busy trying to help the vet’s that he did not have the time for other questions”. ”

Now, is that REALLY what his people said, or are you paraphrasing how it sounded to you?

Post your questions here; maybe William or someone will pass them on. I notice he’s in Afghanistan right now, so he might be a bit jet lagged Wednesday, but surely his eager staff will do what they can to help you. (My brother should be in Afghanistan right now but is delayed in Dubai for surgery.)

I’m off until the seventeenth. (Some think I’m always off, but I think they mean in a different way.) If I have a chance, I’ll pass along anything I can, even though nobody listens to me.

Mr Green—My bad on the day, still if you’re working could you take off? I have tried to have a question or two answered by Millers office and was told by a staff member “he was so busy trying to help the vet’s that he did not have the time for other questions”. If does not matter to me if a glass is 1% or the other part of that bit is if the glass is half full or half empty. Please share with us all what Miller has done for Bluff Springs.

“on a Monday when those of us with jobs have to work. ”

Unless I missed something, it says: “Congressman Jeff Miller’s staff will be conducting mobile office hours in Century and Jay on Wednesday.”

You at least have two extra days to fret. Further, you can contact him at other times in other places. I think he just thought you’d appreciate him being even more handy, but he was wrong.

    David considering folks who see
a glass as one percent empty rather than 99% full

WOW—a whole hour at each location on a Monday when those of us with jobs have to work. Now I understand why the approval rating for congress is in the area of 20% (CNN). Why do I have the feeling that we’ll see more and more of the “helping hands” of Miller as election time comes around.
