A neighborhood watch is great. It sounds like Atmore needs something with a little more recoil. A vigilance group might knock a dent in the problem? I cannot get over way people steal in Atmore, even the solar nightligh and angel figurines, from a babys grave. What to you do with such a person. If a tree falls in the forest.
Maybe a neighborhood watch group (or groups) would help clean it up in Atmore? Worth a try…can’t make it worse, might make it better.
You know Watchman, it seems our nation has been operating on a faulty logic for a while now. How in the world did it get introduced, and how long will it be, before it can be corrected!
You have one man laid to rest, giving his life for his country and another young man laid to rest over some stolen rims. What a sad commentary.
Just a few words….drugs…tempers….money…..guns…death…There is a root cause for this….care to guess ??
It not race , it’s not color , not social or economical state of families. It’s Hell in a hand basket in a hurry. It’s every where , anytime , anybody. Atmore is no different from any town large or small in this once Great country you and I both grew up in.
I hope for this particular family’s sake,I pray they find out who did this! You will be dearly missed Chris!! You were such a good person, this is ashame, I hope they catch your killer!!!!!!
Hello Watchman. I do not remember murders on the street, when I lived in Atmore. Can you tell me, when did things start to change. I remember hearing about the Crack problem there around 1990. I have heard of Prominet Families there leaving town in disgrace due to their childrens drug use and other experimentation. A brief summary, if you please sir.
Living in the area most of my life. Don’t hold your breath to know the truth. People will watch their friends and family gunned down and claim they didn’t see a thing. Even if local law enforcement were to cared??? Locals will not help
Its time for Atmore to clean house.
