I’m voting for Jim Taylor. He is a good man and is a man of his word. District 5 needs someone that will listen to the peoples concerns and that will take care of it. His communication skills and knowledge of what our district needs is what we
need to bring our district back to the level it needs to be.

Its not just the ‘good old BOYS’. Our tax collector and clerk of courts have retired while working and are now double dipping. What part of this is wrong? One in ten people in Escambia County is unemployed and we have two elected officials double dipping. Time for a change!

Sam Archer has my vote! I have known Sam for 27 years. He is an honest, God- fearing man who would do alot of good for this county. Sam Archer is someone you can trust! Sam Archer has integrity! Sam Archer does not live off of his family names, however he does take pride in them, and I would too! @ “HONESTY COMES FIRST”-You obviously dont know Sam Archer! Im with you “NEXT COUNTY COMM”!!!

have you ever seen a poor comissioner that has worked out in the county to see what the problems really are? they all own their own business and look what the county pays them to.of course they dont care about the poor people.why should they.county adm.is here to cut everything he can and then move on.thats just what we need.why is is paid so much to come in and cut everything and hurt people. why cant he bring in more higher paying jobs so people can live more easier.wonder why crime is so high? because ther are no jobs around here.all they worry about is the beach.if jobs were here maybe the crime would go down.as long as there are no jobs crime is gona get worse.look at alabama they are always trying to get industries in there to get people off of unemployment .

vote for someone you dont like if you vote for a good honest god fearing person you will be doing them an injustice because when they are elected they will become so crocked that they will have to be screwed into the ground when they die

I have a great idea! I am going to go down Tuesday and file for County Commisioner District 5 and my first agenda on the docket is to have all the roads paved and rid them of potholes. My second agenda will be to load all the charter buses that I can find full of all the negative, backstabbing, mudslinging, two faced people I can find and ship them somewhere other than District 5 and the surrounding areas. And for the record honesty comes first! Happy 4th everyone and good luck to all the candidates!

As stated below, check your public records extensively. We do not want someone that has an extensive background, which I find one having. We need someone that IS honest, not someone that WAS honest at one time “possibly”. We need someone that works for a living and that does not live off of family member names. Even the most Godly individuals can be the most crooked individuals, as we have one for sure running for a seat. We do not need the Good Ole’ Boys, we need someone of good character that we can actually trust. I do not think Archer fits in any of the “good” categories that we need. If you think he does, please do not vote and do some more background checking prior to or we will surely be in a mess.

    I’m with NAME REQUIRED.
Enough with the “good ole boys”.
We need accountability not back room handshake deals we don’t find
out about till it’s to late.

My vote will still go to Sam Archer. He will be the best person to look out for District 5!

  12. Name (required) on July 2nd, 2011 12:32 pm

I wish it were easier to know who is aligned with who.

Think back to Mike Whitehead, when the large contributor was found to have business with the county…

Oh to be rid of the ‘Good ole’ boy’ politics! I hope that we are able to figure out
who is who and make good decisions as voters.

We (as a county) really need to move forward…

    Name (required)
    For representative governance.
