It was pretty scary, I was on the other bus. Our bus started slowing down and then we saw the pick up truck in the middle of the road and the bus with the adults was in the grass. I heard that it almost toppled over! I’m so glad that everyone was okay.

SANDRA: Could speed–inattention–or what ever be the problem. A red light can’t help much where a driver crosses the median and hits a bus.

As a passenger on the bus, I know that the outcome from this collision were no less than miraculous, thanks to the expertise of a seasoned bus driver and, I’m sure, a few guardian angels…it could have been a disaster! Photos obviously don’t show evidence of the wild ride the bus experienced before coming to a stop. Thank heavens the driver of the truck was spared, as well!

I had friends on these buses. I’m thanking Heavenly Father for protecting them at this time. I am glad the truck driver is also alright. This could have been much worse.
