Burglar Smashes Into Two Jay Pharmacies

July 19, 2011

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the person that smashed windows into two Jay pharmacies late Sunday night.

The unidentified male tossed a brick through the glass front door of the Dura-Med Pharmacy and Soda Shoppe on Highway 4. The suspect left a trail of blood behind as he sprinted to the pharmacy counter where he was unable to reach the narcotics located behind a security door. Within eight seconds, he was back out of the pharmacy.

A short time before the Dura-Med burglary, what was believed to be the same suspect smashed through a drive-thru window and of the nearby Jay Pharmacy. The burglary suspect failed at the second pharmacy too; he only managed to break through the first layer of the double pane window.

Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to contact Santa Rosa Crime Stoppers at (850) 437-STOP or the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 983-1100.

As to DNA there would also be a genetic link to all of his relatives.
If any of them ever turned over their DNA to any Federal or State
    data bases…..BAMMMM another big whopping

    REGARDING:
“The suspect left a trail of blood”

If you have his blood, you have his DNA. If you have his DNA, you will eventually have him because stupid people continue to do stupid thing.

An interesting thing to me about DNA is the information in it which is currently ignored. It would tell hair color, eye color, even cheek bone structure, facial characteristics, ancestry, and I don’t know what all else other than the fact that every natural physical characteristic which a person possesses is encoded in his DNA. (It wouldn’t give you tattoos, scars, tooth structure — things caused by environment and/or drunkenness.) Add that to the photo and you’d have a pretty good description to help find the poor thing.

    David for less crime

The exemplifies what addits will do to get their drugs. Our country is in so much trouble whith this poison. It is a shame to see society run it’s self down like this. Not meaning all people do this but the ones who do takes a toll on those of us who do not. I do knot know what the magic bullet would be to fix the problem but I highly expect if these people who are doing this stuff had been taught satndards and values they would know right from wrong. Not saying don’t know or making excuses for them for there are no excuses for them.
I’m sure someone will try and defend what these people do by saying things like unemployment and surroundings and so on. But make no mistake about it they did the deed now let their butt pay for it. Maybe they will clean up behind bars. Although that sdoes not solve the problem either.

@WOW! I do understand where you’re coming from, but I wouldn’t be so quick to point any fingers to only Jay boys. There are obviously druggies all over, and they will travel to get what they want..

I do wish the photo on the camera was a little clearer so we could see this person better, The law is very smart though and with the evidence they have; I’m sure and hoping they will capture this criminal very quickly, before it goes any further…

in reply to WOW….I sincerely hope it isn’t someone from Jay, and if it turns out to be a thug from somewhere else that you issue an appology!! Not everyone in Jay is bad!

This is what junkies do in desperation. He is probably still searching for drugs. I am sure someone knows this person and does not want to say who it is.
you will be doing them a favor by telling the police. this way they can get the help they obviously need.
This person will continue to hunt for drugs and will not stop until they get them. It would not suprise me to read about an armed robbery sometime during the week while stores are open.
This person will not stop until they have the drugs they want!
